Went in today to have a quick bite to eat, I’ve been coming here since I was little so I knew I’d have good service and lovley food as always. Instead I was greeted by a very rude manager. We felt very rushed to order as we had only just walked in and had been asked three times what we wanted. We weren’t even given a number for our food so had to track the waitress down when she was walking around with our food. The food was great as per usual and the waiting staff were lovley. Sadly the rude attitude of that one particular man really just put me off and ruined the experience, doubt I’ll come again sadly.

We had cottage pie and chips and proper homemade style food. We loved it. I do agree with some of the reviews that tables are slow to clear away and the place hasn't changed in years. I did see advert for staff so I think they are short staffed which could explain tables not cleared quicker. I would return as all the food looked nice.
