Its noe 2025 and I tried again here adter a long break. Had a party for 4 and there was only one other couple in restuarant: They recently updated the decor looks a whole lot better. But alas the service was poor they brought out the wrong orders twice and the starter came after the mains, which came at different times due to the order mistakes, the food was ok but the chicken was tough. After the errors in the order, I asked for the service charge to be removed. The owner stated that the service charge was compulsory and was quite rude. Sorry if I sound a moan but when I'm spending North of £90 on a meal I do expect a bit better. And a note for the owner. A service charge is generally not compulsory in the UK, especially in restaurants. While it's often presented as a mandatory addition to the bill, customers can typically ask for it to be removed, particularly if they weren't happy with the service or food. It's considered a discretionary payment, similar to a tip, and there's no obligation to pay. WONT BE BACK !!!!
