También conocido como Palacio de la aduano que se comenzó a construir en 1770. Sede de la diputación provincial. Suelen hacer en la planta baja multidud de exposiciones durante todo el año. Muy interesantes. Yo disfruté de una exposicion fotográfica de la transición donde aparecían fotos de los últimos años de los 70s.. En navidad ponen una de Belenes de todo.el mundo muy curiosa y bonita. Añado fotos para que se vean.

Todo perfecto

Imponente edificio de estilo neoclásico construido en el último cuarto del siglo XVIII por el arquitecto Juan Caballero. Magníficamente conservado. Es de planta rectangular con dos patios cuadrangulares porticados. Está construido con piedra ostionera. Dentro del palacio cabe destacar el Salón Regio, realizado bajo la dirección del arquitecto Juan de la Vega, obra llevada a cabo en 1862, cuando el palacio sirvió como residencia a la reina Isabel II, en su viaje a Cádiz. Está decorado con mármoles y alfombras, destacando las pinturas al temple de su techo, y con tallas de Juan Rosado y pinturas de Juan Bautista Vivaldi. En su interior aloja un buen número de obras de arte contemporáneo.
