This place is an absolute gem. It’s not really a restaurant - more like a diner. The strongest side of this place is its authenticity. You can enjoy amazing, simple regional dishes for an absolutely cheap price. If you want to save some money while in Budapest but still have a good meal, visit this place. The food is both cheap and delicious, and the portions are quite big as well. They had really good goulash and schnitzel. I ordered the schnitzel with cucumber salad, which was a really delicious and fresh side to choose. The staff might not speak English well, but you’ll easily find a common way to communicate. They are very friendly. You order at the counter first, and then you can find a seat in the next room. The food was ready in just a few minutes.
