The Greek restaurant Mazi, true to its "ancient" demeanor, is always bustling with visitors, among whom the unusual speech of Zeus's children and the descendants of Hercules can be heard amidst the noisy chatter. Unsurprisingly, even its distance from the well-trodden tourist paths and its unassuming appearance have not hindered Mazi's popularity.

The restaurant, rooted in Greek tradition, offers its customers appetizing Mediterranean dishes, ranging from the well-known moussaka to the even more common souvlaki. Mazi embodies simplicity and even a certain perfectionism, which the owners bring to the interior design. Over each wooden table hangs an unobtrusive bright incandescent lamp, which, however, only lights up in the evening.
