Surprisingly, Koleves is located in a building that used to be a meatpacking plant and soon became one of the most popular informal spots in the capital. Inside, the restaurant resembles a large kitchen, cluttered with bright pots and dining utensils, and everywhere you can hear lively conversations. Really nice traditional fusion restaurant. The staff is very very kind and helpful. Contrary to many Budapest restaurants this didn’t feel too touristy.
