About

Feneketlen Lake is an artificial body of water that emerged in the place of a clay quarry of a local brick factory that operated here several centuries ago. Residents of Budapest quickly took to the lake, considering it the perfect place for strolls and a break from the always noisy and bustling Hungarian capital.

The width of Feneketlen is precisely 40 meters, but in length, the reservoir stretches out to a whole 200 meters. Around the lake, there are many trees, which have formed a real green park where one can wander and take refuge from the sun on a hot summer day. Ducks swim across the smooth surface of Feneketlen, unafraid of tourists and readily accepting treats.
