The establishment is located in a former pharmacy building, where prescriptions were once written and ounces of medicine were measured on large scales.

In La Quincaillerie, Belgian and French cuisine dominates, along with a multitude of seafood dishes, which are invariably served with a glass of light wine or dark, night-like beer. Visitors have access to two floors with comfortable leather armchairs and wide tables, on which not only a pot of lobsters or mussels can be placed, but also candleholders that light up in the evening.
