About

In the Schaerbeek area, slightly off the beaten tourist tracks, lies Josaphat Park, long cherished by both tourists and the residents of Brussels. The place has a unique atmosphere that envelops each visitor, making them forget the city hustle and bustle and listen to the engulfing silence, as if a storm cloud loomed overhead.

In Josaphat Park, one can encounter diverse tree species that have been brought here from all corners of the globe since the beginning of the twentieth century. Later, original sculptures by Brussels artisans appeared on the park grounds, becoming the unofficial symbols of this green landmark. Here, it is common to see locals thoughtfully wandering through the shady alleys or, conversely, actively engaging in sports.

Bien entretenu. Un îlot de verdure ou il fait bon pique-niquer et se reposer apres une matinée de visite.

Great park for families, clean and safe. Lots of activities and things to enjoy. Would be good if they cleaned the ponds more often as well as the porta potties but otherwise excellent.
