Ubideen iniltokia walking track is one of the best free things to do in Bilbao. The walking trail begins in Axturi, on the edge of central district (catch one of the many buses or metro to begin as it's uphill!). This paved walking path snakes along the river, then it loops back after crossing the bridge. The trees provide awesome shade on a Summer day. It is a local favourite which junctions near Montlefulete Park. Such a great opportunity to be connect with nature on the edge of a fortified city.
