Interessanter Ort, speziell als Abkürzung, um nach längerem Aareschwimmen im Bereich Zehendermätteli in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss wieder zum Ausgangspunkt zurückzukehren. Der Tunnel sieht aus, als hätte er früher als Kanalisationstunnel gedient.

Ser intresseant man kann in der Aare die Schlauffe Schwimmen geht ca. 20 Min. Ausstieg vor der Brücke Rechts, danach durch den Tunell zurück zum Einstieg, oberhalb der Schlauffe . Die Strömungen sind nicht ungefärlich, es gibt Strudel, Steine und Baume im, am Wasser.
