Auf der Suche nach etwas "Speziellem" während unseres Aufenthaltes in Berlin bin ich auf diese kleine Bäckerei aufmerksam geworden und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Alles ist glutenfrei aber unabhängig davon gab es eine kleine aber feine Auswahl an interessantenund klassischen Backwaren. Darunter neben ein paar Broten noch herzhafte (Mini-Baguette, kleine Pizzen und Teigtasche mit Linsenfüllung) wie süße (Hefeteig- und Sauerteigschnecke, Scones, Brownie, Schokocroissant, Plunderteilchen mit Zitronencréme, Karottenkuchen) Teile. Die Teigtasche hätte vielleicht ein wenig saftiger sein können (an manchen Stellen ein wenig trocken, geschmacklich sonst gut), dafür hat aber der süße Abschluss, die Sauerteig-Zimtschnecke, mich mehr als abgeholt: saftig, nicht zu süß und vor allem zimtig! Da ich eher herzhafte Speisen bevorzuge, hielt sich die Auswahl für mich in Grenzen (Varianten an belegten Brote an dem Tag nicht da). Das Angebot ist also tageweise reduziert. Ich persönlich nehme das aber gerne in Kauf, wenn es alles selbst hergestellt wird und würde beim nächsten Berlin-Trip daher definitiv wieder vorbeikommen. Auch der Kaffee war angenehm cremig und es stand kostenloses Leitungswasser zur Verfügung. Die Einrichtung war super aufeinander abgestimmt und rustikal gehalten, dabei nicht überladen. Eine Toilette ist vorhanden. Für zu Hause hatte ich noch das hausgemachte Granola mitgenommen, das mich absolut überzeugt hat!

To walk in to a café and being able to order any of the presented goodies is heaven. That it also tastes heavenly makes it worth traveling a far way over Berlin to have breakfast two days in a row. Recommended. If management reads this: breakfast rush-hour is tough for only one person behind the counter. There was no shortage of customers. Staff was wonderful though. Take good care of them!
