Das Chiaro ist im Hotel de Rome und ist ein elegantes, feines Restaurant mit Innenhof. Die Auswahl der Gerichte ist überschaubar, was der Qualität und Frische zugutekommt. Es gibt sehr leckere Aubergine al parmigiara, auch die Jacobsmuscheln sind empfehlenswert. Die Menükarte wechselt saisonal und passt sich den regionalen Angeboten von Obst und Gemüse entsprechend an. Beim Dessert gibt es u.a. Spaghetti-Eis, das am Tisch zubereitet wird. Ein echter Hingucker. Preislich belegt man sich im oberen Preisrahmen, was absolut ok ist angesichts der Qualität, des Service und des Ambientes.

Wir haben ein vegetarisches Menü mit Weinbegleitung gegessen. Man hat nichts vermisst, obwohl wir eigentlich gern Fleisch mögen. Besonders der zweite Gang (grüner Spargel mit Miso-Hollandaise und Belper Knolle) war großartig. Beim Dessert mochten wir den grünen Tee beide nicht, aber das ist ja Geschmackssache. Hervorragend fanden wir die Weinauswahl, sehr überraschend. Wir kommen gern wieder.
