About

The West Norway Museum Of Decorative Art, designed by architect Henry Bucher and opened in 1896, stands as a notable attraction in Bergen. While the building itself is stunning and visitors often praise the terrific exhibitions and intriguing exhibits, some find the art pieces to be underwhelming. Among its highlights is the Sæverudmonumentet, a sculpture crafted by Bernar Venet in 2000, serving as a tribute to composer Harald Sæverud. Although the museum may not delight everyone, it provides an abundance of information to those who appreciate the decorative arts.

KODE West Norway Museum of Decorative Art — замечательный музей! Особенно понравились изысканные изделия из фарфора и картины Harriet Backer. Очень красивое и вдохновляющее место.🤗

Da non perdere per conoscere la cultura norvegese. Comodi i guardaroba e le toilette. In ognuno servizio bar e ristorante. Sono tutti molto vicini e raggiungibili a piedi.
