About

Perched on a scenic hilltop in Bergen's Fana district, Fantoft Stave Church offers a window into early medieval craftsmanship, boasting a striking architecture enhanced by its intricately carved dragon heads. Originally relocated from Fortun village, this wooden marvel exudes a birch tar aroma, inviting visitors to indulge in its historical ambiance. Despite the fenced surroundings that obscure some views, its charm remains intact. Don't miss the unique wish stone, believed to grant goodwill when rubbed. With a commendable 4.3 rating, it stands as a delightful attraction for those intrigued by Norway's storied past.

Sehr schöner Nachbau der Kirche. Es gibt auch einen Wunschstein, den man reiben kann. Liebevolle Handarbeit aus Holz. Die Kirche riecht durch den Birkenteer als wäre sie abgebrannt
