Elegant Palladian bridge built in the mid 18th century, located within the very attractive Prior Park Landscape Garden. The Italian inspired design is very unusual, with this bridge being one of only four in the world. The view looking up the valley with the bridge in the foreground is much photographed, but when I visited on a Friday afternoon the park wasn't overcrowded. Adult tickets for the park are £11.00 (at the time of writing), so it's worth taking a walk around the full extent of the grounds to make the most of your visit. Dogs on leads are welcome, and there are onsite toilet facilities and a refreshments kiosk.
