Am Samstag war ich im Warung Kopi in Zürich – und was soll ich sagen: Es war ein echtes Highlight! 🖤 Ich hatte einen Flat White mit den Ethiopia Bohnen (den ich jedem Kaffee-Enthusiasten nur wärmstens empfehlen kann) und dazu ein Eier Sando Sandwich. Meine Verlobte entschied sich für einen Cappuccino mit den Brasil Bohnen und ein Croissant. Schon der Empfang war unglaublich herzlich. Bevor wir bestellt haben, durften wir die beiden Bohnen frisch gemahlen riechen und bekamen die Geschmacks- und Röstprofile ausführlich erklärt – inklusive persönlicher Empfehlungen. Ein wirklich toller Service! Zum Kaffee: Mein Flat White hat mich direkt mit dem ersten Schluck überzeugt. Die beerigen, floralen Noten mit einem Hauch von Milchschokolade erinnerten mich stark an La Cabra Kaffee – einfach hervorragend. Selten habe ich eine Tasse so sehr genossen! Das dazugehörige Eier Sando Sandwich war ebenfalls ein absoluter Genuss: fluffig-weiches Brot, eine perfekte Konsistenz und eine Eierfüllung mit Soya-Ei, die mich wirklich umgehauen hat. Ich hätte mich am liebsten durch die ganze Karte probiert, aber meine Diät hat mir leider einen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht. Das Gute daran: Ich komme garantiert wieder! 😄 Die beiden Bohnen habe ich gleich mit nach Hause genommen und dazu eine super freundliche Anleitung zur Zubereitung bekommen – das schätze ich wirklich sehr. So lässt sich die Erfahrung aus dem Café perfekt daheim rekonstruieren. Der Ethiopia Flat White ist ab sofort mein Lieblingskaffee für zu Hause: 19 Gramm in, 50 Gramm out, in ca. 25–27 Sekunden – so gelingt er mir jedes Mal perfekt. Dass es die Bohnen nicht online zu kaufen gibt, finde ich übrigens gar nicht schlimm. So habe ich noch mehr Gründe, regelmäßig ins Warung Kopi zu kommen. Es ist offiziell mein neuer Lieblings-Kaffeespot in der Schweiz! Vielen Dank für diese tolle Erfahrung – bis ganz bald!

The fact that they served Kopi Tubruk, an Indonesian coffee drink, over coffee was the main reason I chose this place to satisfy my coffee craving (see my photo for reference). After letting the coffee swim in the hot water for four to six minutes, you remove it. Compared to filter coffee, it has a distinct flavor—in a good way. The second coffee was a filter coffee, which Flo suggested and was as excellent. I also enjoyed a pleasant conversation about coffee and other subjects with both owners. Without a doubt, I'll return.
