One of my absolute favorite spots in Zurich is a tiny island right on Lake Zurich. I usually go there by bike, and every time it feels like a hidden summer escape. The island is small, with just a few trees, but it has such a chill and cool atmosphere. It’s not really a place for kids, but you’ll find plenty of teenagers and adults hanging out. People bring music, do some grilling, have picnics, swim, jump into the water, or even enjoy water sports. The location also gives you a perfect view of Zurich from the lake, which makes it even more special. You can reach it by public transportation, but I recommend bringing everything you need with you، drinks, food, a towel, and anything else to make your day comfortable. If you want to swim and experience one of the coolest places in Zurich, this little island is a must. It’s a spot where you can relax, have fun, and really feel the summer vibes of the city.
