Eine meiner 5 Lieblingskirchen in Zürich. Die Romanisch-Gotische Predigerkirche aus dem Jahre 1231 dominiert mit Ihrem extrem schlanken und 96m hohen Neugotischen Turm das Stadtbild. Ausserhalb der Gottesdienste kann man diese Kirche frei besichtigen. Sie kann zu Fuss innert 8 Minuten vom Central mit dem ÖV erreicht werden. Die Zentralbibliothek ist unmittelbar daneben. Der Innenraum ist schlicht und aufgeräumt. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Manchmal kann man sogar ein Orgelspiel geniessen. Die Orgel wurde auf eine massive Eichenbalkenkonstruktion im Hauptschiff montiert.
