In this lovely restaurant "Yakamoz" you will enjoy the most delicious food and also you will feel finally like at home, you will be covered with family warmth, care and love! With all my heart I want to express a great thanks to the chef of the restaurant. This evening he literally returned me to life! I've just moved from Ukraine to England and I've had some terrible things happen to me. I felt very lonely in this country. Today I was walking with my dogs and I passed by this restaurant, almost crying and wishing I could go back to Ukraine. Quite by chance this wonderful chef was outside the restaurant, talked to me, invited me in and treated delicious meals! He's a Man with a great heart! I wish your restaurant prosperity and the wellness to all your team members! Dear "Yakamoz", You are the First among the Best! 💖

First time trying a Turkish restaurant and we were not disappointed! Friendly staff who explained the dishes . We ordered 2 Yakamoz mini grills, a sebzeli guvec, an imam bacilli and some Turkish beer. 🍻 The complimentary lavish bread was awesome and a lovely way to start our meal. All of the dishes were hot, generous and oh so tasty. 😋 Unfortunately we couldn't manage any dessert but we'll be back to try the baklava. The owner came out to see us to ask if we'd enjoyed our meal which was a lovely touch. This place is a must when visiting York. Thank you all for a wonderful experience. ❤️
