We came here for Sunday lunch, and after living in York for a while, we’ve tried most of the city’s recommended roast spots — often finding them a bit stingy on portions. Not here! The roast was absolutely fantastic: generous servings of perfectly cooked vegetables, plenty of rich, delicious gravy, and beautifully pink, tender beef. We couldn’t fault a thing and left feeling full, happy, and already planning our next visit. A special shout-out to our amazing waiter, Magic. He truly elevated the experience with his friendly energy and attentive service. Anything we needed was sorted in seconds, and he brought nothing but good vibes from start to finish. He’s a real credit to the restaurant!

Brilliant place, wonderful food and great service. From the offset met by incredibly friendly staff and welcomed into a stunning venue, the food did not disappoint. Bit of a steak snob and the Chateaubriand did not disappoint, incredible value for money too. Drink offering is great, post meal drinks outside are incredibly pleasant too! Could not recommend more.
