Impromptu visit to an area not associated with the delights of York, but enjoyed a fabulous meal in this small restaurant. The waiter didn't hover around, but was on hand if ever we needed anything and the food came rather quickly. We had a peshwari naan, lamb briani and chef's special. It was 'proper' Indian food which was very tasty and a good portion size, and the day after there was no evidence of this meal 😉. It did lack atmosphere for 8.30 on a Saturday night however its certainly worth a revisit.
