Decided to come here after a recommendation from a friend. Best Italian in York, and recommend booking as it was full! Excellent staff service (thank you Veronica, who seemed like she was running the whole restaurant as she was flying around!) and the food was amazing quality. The monkfish and mafaldine and house wine were just amazing. Our waitress convinced us to try the cannolo sicciliano which was absolutely amazing and worth every penny. Food was amazing, and service even better , Veronica was so attentive, warm, and genuinely friendly. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, gave great recommendations, and made us feel completely welcome. It’s rare to come across someone who makes the whole dining experience that much better, but she truly did. Thank you for such fantastic service and dining experience with amazing music. Thank you il Paradiso and Paolo asking if me and my husband of 15 years are on our first date- nice touch!

The standard of food here is up there with what you get in Italy itself, very friendly welcoming staff. Fantastic service, as well as the main menu you have a wonderful selection of specials as well. A pleasure to visit

Un excellent moment passé dans ce petit restaurant qui ne paie pas de mine de l'extérieur, mais où l'on trouve des plats de qualité servis avec une grande gentillesse. La fraîcheur des produits, le souci de la serveuse de faire au mieux pour nous, une cuisine authentiquement italienne, pour autant que je puisse en juger ont permis de faire un délicieux repas en famille.
