One of my favourite bakeries in York! Such a wide selection of pastries, both sweet and savoury, the hardest part is choosing which to go for! They often have seasonal specials also. The murmuration coffee is great. Lovely friendly staff, simple decor, comfy seating and dog friendly. We keep going back and recommend to anyone who visits.

Visited recently and thoroughly impressed with the food. It was a bank holiday Sunday towards the end of the day so there wasn't lots of stock left but everything we did try was delicious. It is a premium bakery and the prices are reflective of the quality of goods on offer. Two people could share a savoury and sweet pastry and have a coffee each and you're looking at around £10 a head for a very satiating brunch. You can tell everything is made in house and the service is friendly. Keep up the good work!

Still thinking about the pastries I had at Heppni Bakeri in York…the chocolate & blackberry pastry✨loved the glossy chocolate layer on top and the juicy blackberries underneath 🍫🫐The peach & honey pastry was another favourite, light, buttery and bursting with flavour 🍑🍯Every bite was delicious!! On my list for next time: the chocolate orange & almond with a chocolate oat crumble and the pistachio pastry 👀 — they look too good to miss. By fishenjoylife
