Was searching for a late night eat in southeast DC and chanced upon this place. Not terrible overall, but definitely a couple misses. Was slightly surprised to find calamari on the menu at a place like this and thought I'd try it for the novelity. Turns out, sometimes the book does match the cover. Really terrible calamari. I'm not sure if it had gone off, or if they just hadn't been refreshing their fry oil frequently enough, but I definitely detected several fish flavors that shouldn't have been there. Basically inedible. The collard greens were OK, but a little bland. The fried chicken was good, but hard to go too wrong there. The cheese steak was a pretty reasonable attempt at a cheese steak, but it was a tad small.
