Was recommended this spot. It’s a bakery with a Filipino twist, offering brioche donuts and cake slices similar to other Filipino establishments in the area. We arrived around opening and there was already a line. Service was friendly, and we sat outside. The pastries were fluffy and good, but in my opinion, not quite worth the wait or the price.

My ideal coffee is a bit sour, not burnt, and robust enough to stand on its own (black). The coffee from Rose Ave checked all these marks. The breakfast sandwich and pastries were good too, but the coffee was the standout for me.
