I went to Rakuya in DC the other night and had such a great experience. Holy guacamole I am so happy about my experience. I ordered the yellowtail nigiri which was buttery like a stick of butter. Soft like a baby’s bottom. Plus one order comes with two pieces. Two for the price of one??? Sign me up. The tuna tartare was also great. It tasted like I put my hand in the ocean and grabbed a fish and then slathered it in sauce and put it in my mouth like an animalistic young man. I finally had a California roll to finish off which was great. I wouldn’t even know it was imitation crab meat. They imitated it so well I was fooled. I was fooled so hard I felt like a fool. Oh my goodness. If every moment in life could be like that yellowtail I would die a happy man. It kinda tastes like soap but if soap was crazy good if you know what I mean. Hard to explain but easy to experience. My name is brayden nash and i love sushi. I do have to give a shout out to my server. Farid treated me and my family of 3 great and gave great recommendations. I would heavily recommend asking for him as your server as he treated us like we were family. He also had excellent answers to every question I asked. Thank you so much Rakuya I was pleasantly pleased today. 5 star 5 star if I could this would be 6 star.
