Peacock Alley at the Waldorf Astoria offers a beautifully designed space with seasonal décor that still manages to feel festive and elegant. However, the experience doesn’t quite live up to what it was when the property operated as the Trump International Hotel. The energy, service, and attention to detail felt stronger back then. The food is mediocre overall, like something I’d quickly put together in my own kitchen… though the pizza is worth ordering. Service is okay, but not particularly attentive. One off-putting moment was seeing a waiter and manager visibly counting our group and celebrating (a little too obviously) when they realized the automatic 20% gratuity would be applied for our party of six + … not exactly the professionalism you’d expect in a place like this. Ultimately, while the setting remains beautiful, the overall experience has slipped.

Honestly, I wouldn’t care much about the price at this location but the food quality definitely needs some improvements. Ordered continental breakfast and the selection of pastry was pretty limited and not fresh. The atmosphere is nice but I really hope that they can focus more on quality.
