I stayed at the Ven recently and ordered a drink from the restaurant to be delivered to my room. They called to let me know they were out of what I ordered but that the bartender would make me something. I said I liked berry flavors and rum/vodka. Whatever Jorge made was absolutely delicious!

Oh, this is the bar at the Ven. The french fries for 6 hours and 50 cents are pretty good. They don't have a great beer selection and the bar is a little pricey. They do serve food including breakfast. They put free coffee on the side of the bar but it's really bad coffee. Check out the tea house just past the bar, valley Brook.

The food here is excellent. Many different cultures represented on their menu. We stayed at the hotel and ate their in the evenings. The root salad and perogies were our favorite appetizers. But you cannot go wrong with any of the dishes. I recommend this restaurant to be a must visit when In Washington DC. You will not be disappointed.
