I love this place! The Whiskey Bar in SE is it for me! Now, I still don’t love smoked meat - but there are other eats that fit the need. Come for the drinks, stay for the good time.

Tender moist brisket, piping hot greens with a sweet note, and eclectic jalpeño grits. The service is friendly and professional. The one weak point of this place is that the seating kind of sucks, with unduly high bolted in stools mismatched to a counter that’s too low for them. Then they have those common cheap metal counter stools with the handle in the seat. There are no tables here during my visit in September 2025. I’ve been here several times, but I don’t ever recall settling into a comfortable table to relax and dine-in here. This could all be designed to incentivize patrons to take their food to go. But don’t think you’re going to have a comfortable place to relax here as you sit down to a sumptuous meal.
