Since its opening in 1833 with the opera "The Barber of Seville", today the theater has two halls and the only Theatrical Museum in the country. Своим внешним видом варшавский Большой театр напоминает московский. Правда, внутри здания нет ни позолоты, ни других декоративных изысков. Но зато поражает потолок в звездах и кометах. Акустика зала отличная. Смотрела оперу «Венецианский купец», в основу которой положена одноименная пьеса Шекспира. Постановка потрясающая, игра актеров заслуживает похвалы. Билеты можно купить на сайте театра и затем получить их перед спектаклем. Смело можно брать билеты на верхние балконы.

Don Quixote was a great ballet. Music, scenography, cast and choreography. Enjoyed every second. The building is impressive, as always 😇
