Since its opening in 1833 with the opera "The Barber of Seville", today the theater has two halls and the only Theatrical Museum in the country. One of the halls can accommodate 1841 enthusiastic spectators! In addition, the theater often holds educational meetings with youth and children, inviting renowned artists and enhancing the cultural level of the younger generation. Not to mention the countless exhibitions, presentations, and gala concerts that attract thousands and thousands of fans. The ballet and opera singing captivate with their beauty, inviting a return in the new season.

Своим внешним видом варшавский Большой театр напоминает московский. Правда, внутри здания нет ни позолоты, ни других декоративных изысков. Но зато поражает потолок в звездах и кометах. Акустика зала отличная. Смотрела оперу «Венецианский купец», в основу которой положена одноименная пьеса Шекспира. Постановка потрясающая, игра актеров заслуживает похвалы. Билеты можно купить на сайте театра и затем получить их перед спектаклем. Смело можно брать билеты на верхние балконы.
