About

Kaziuko muge is a folk art fair that takes place every year since the end of the 17th century, officially starting on March 4th and lasting for 3 days.

This major event, which holds great significance for Lithuania, is timed to commemorate the anniversary of the burial of Saint Casimir, highly revered by the Catholic Church.

People from the Baltic states, Russians, Poles, Germans, and some other European citizens gather for the festival. Here, one can purchase products made by Lithuanian artisans, try local cuisine and drinks. The fair spans most streets of the Old Town, Cathedral Square, and Gediminas Avenue.
