Perfect post classical concert snack stop! Delicious fresh sausages make for a very casual supper especially after a packed day of touristy tours, art museums and calorie dense cakes. Nothing fancy here, but everything is super delicious and freshly cooked. Several counter space area around the stall where you can stand and eat. Fun and delicious!

Vienna Sausage is a staple in Vienna and sausage stands are scattered throughout the city. I tried a Kasekrainer Hot Dog at Wurstelstand zum Hohen Markt. This was their most popular sausage! I’m not a big fan of hot dogs but really enjoyed this one. The sausage was snappy, grilled well, and very flavorful. It was filled with just the right amount of cheese, too. The bun was way better than a typical American hot dog bun. It was like a baguette, which was crunchy and baked very well. Highly recommend this spot or any other sausage stand while in Vienna!
