The best all round meal I had in Venice! Very attentive staff (best service I've had in my whole 40 day Europe trip), incredibly friendly and fluent in English, though we conversed mostly in Italian when they realised I was trying to speak it better. They switched easily to English when necessary and answered a couple of my questions about sentence structure. ;) Went midweek (Tuesday) and got a table at 7:30pm as a walk-in. Just after 8pm when the sun really set it did get to a point where a few people were waiting for a table. There's a big long wall where you can wait and enjoy a drink. Only reason it gets 3 stars for atmosphere is because there is no real "view" to enjoy and the laneway that it's in is fairly typical of Venice, but if you want to experience a meal that's worth the price, this will do that for you. Then you can walk 1min to Rialto bridge for a nice evening stroll. Food was top notch. Lobster linguine first course, Tuna with sesame & pistachio crust second course, panna cotta with espresso for dessert. And Bellini to drink, thoroughly recommend. ;)

We were walking around Venice for our one day that we spent here this trip, and started getting hangry from all the walking. his place looked good, and the staff weren't being pushy like in some other places, so we went for it. It was good, the staff were friendly and for a place like Venice, that is always chock full of tourists, it was s nice reprieve from the busyness.
