After visiting many countries in Europe, I was bored of traditional art and history museums. My expat friend in Valencia recommended I checked out this place. I was skeptical but I was pleasantly surprised. I learned about the whole idea of the "fallero" and artistic culture in the city. I've never seen a museum like this. It seems that it isn't well known because me and my friend were the only ones there. The man working the desk was extremely kind and seemed grateful that people were so enthused by his culture! He was very passionate about the subject when I asked him about the origins and history of the fallas. So, the museum has a bunch of different sculptures to look at. Some are funny, some are super detailed, and others are just totally random. It’s such a unique mix of art and tradition. Definitely not a typical museum, but that’s what made it so fun to visit. If you’re ever in Valencia, it’s worth checking out, especially if you’re around during the festival! 😀 Here are some of my favorites!

Museo con ninots salvados por los profesionales. Lo visitamos solos, en 1 hora o así. Preciosas figuras, qué arte tienen!
