The city farm holds a lot of dear memories from my own childhood, and I never miss an opportunity to take my own kids, for them to create wonderful memories of their own. It's not a big farm, and not a fancy adventure farm, but it has so much heart. The animals love to be stroked and hand fed, and at 50p for a bag of feed, you'd be daft not to! The staff are all wonderfully friendly, have all the time in the world to chat about the animals whilst they work away on their chores, and are always willing to help if they can. They hold lots of fun events for the local community here too. The farm has a lovely woodland walk to offer, as well as the farmyard and the animal fields. They sell fresh eggs for crazy cheap prices, and it's free to enter (though I'd always advise leaving a donation of support).
