First time for us on a Japanese restaurant and the experience has been great. We will come back for sure. The food very tasty and abundant. Very nice staff always smiling and helping. Kamakura in Carrickfergus (omniplex) is, by far, one of mine and my children’s favourite restaurants! My kids aren’t the typical “chicken nuggets and chips” type, so we always order a selection of dishes to share. King prawn, crab and avocado sushi, salmon sashimi, chicken gyoza, Ebi tempura, kimchi, salt and chilli squid and seaweed salad. Every time we come we receive polite and cheerful service, we are remembered and welcomed, the food is ALWAYS consistently delicious, well presented and unmatched as far as other eating establishments go. Maria, Justin and the team really work so hard to provide an excellent dining experience. We love this place and it is somewhere we will return to so long as i am “cool” enough for my kids to want to eat out with me. Thank you for valuing our custom, we look forward to every interaction and every meal you make us.

Food was delicious and she was very welcoming and attentive. They brought us a great selection of dishes that were all homemade onsite. The sweet potato korokke was heaven. Lovely touch that you can dine traditionally on the lovely wooden floor with cushions. Would go again for sure!
