Piękny budynek zajmowany do niedawna przez Narodowy Bank Polski. Muzeum powstało 19 stycznia 2005 roku. Placówka muzealna prowadzona przez Uniwersytet Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu. Wzniesiony w 1906 roku z przeznaczeniem na Bank Rzeszy.
