Nestled in the heart of Toruń, Fort 1 Toruń - Centrum Kulturalno-Historyczne offers a one-of-a-kind journey through history. As the only armored fortification in the eastern territories of the former German Empire, this unique monument beckons visitors to explore its extensive underground labyrinth of multi-level corridors, rooms, and a distinctive drawbridge. Guided tours, available on Sundays at 12 and 14, as well as during the Toruń Fortress Festival, promise an immersive experience.

Carefully preserved elements like the fortress gate and the evocative access road enhance the historic atmosphere. The site also features a charming Stalker Village, designed to replicate the ambiance of the popular game, complete with an excellent bar. All this is made possible thanks to the passionate efforts of enthusiasts who are spearheading the advanced restoration efforts.

A two-hour tour will have you navigating dimly lit areas, so bringing a flashlight is recommended. Experience captivating storytelling from a friendly guide, bringing the fort's rich history to life. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated at the tour's conclusion.
