a special shoutout to the bartender who tackled our odd requests and questions with a shared enthusiasm, and to the iconic menu. we stopped by for a nightcap, but ended up staying till they closed. surely the best cocktail experience I've had in Stockholm so far.

A suggestion from another Stockholm bartender, Afterglow does seem to take an interesting approach to cocktails and provide you with an adventure into something different. Each cocktail seems to twist a drink into something out of the typical comfort zone and introduce an ingredient that it can be hard for you to imagine together, but it works. I will say the menu is a bit of a catch-22, it is as if they scanned the pages of their original notes, so you get to see how they worked out the cocktail, but it can also be a bit hard to read and sometimes confusing on what is in the actual served drink. I'd be excited to see what new cocktails they come up with on my next visit.
