About

Oscarskyrkan in Stockholm stands as a stunning example of Gothic Revival architecture, showcasing the brilliant work of architect Gustaf Hermansson. Completed in September 1903, this impressive neo-gothic church captivates visitors with its remarkably tall structure and three distinct bays. The large stained glass windows and one of Sweden's largest organs contribute to its awe-inspiring interior, casting vibrant colors and harmonies throughout the serene space. The church offers a calm and quiet atmosphere, with beautiful vaults and the gentle chime of carillon music adding to its charm. Families will appreciate the welcoming spaces for children, while those seeking a memorable experience can attend exquisite organ concerts or even a wedding ceremony. With an average Google rating of 4.5, Oscarskyrkan is not just an architectural delight but a beloved cultural landmark in the city.

L’église est magnifique de l’extérieur… malheureusement l’intérieur est très austère. Aucun tableau ni décoration religieuse. L’endroit est parfait pour se recueillir mais si vous souhaitez simplement la visiter, passez votre chemin.
