The old market square of Salzburg has become home to many cafés, but one of them has become particularly special thanks to its cozy terrace on the second floor, adorned with live flowers in neat, slightly elongated pots. When the city descends into its usual hustle and bustle, and time runs and runs without stopping for a second, it's nice to just sit at a table at the Tomaselli café, breathe in the aroma of coffee, and lean back in your chair. The interior of the establishment has remained exactly the same as on the first day of its opening-understated classic and a minimum of details that could distract from the delicious meal. It's better to reserve tables in advance, as there's no shortage of visitors, even though the café operates into the night.

Me gustó mucho el encanto decadente de este café de 1703, el más antiguo de Austria. Mucha gente y servicio lento, tartas casi acabadas con poco surtido, pero la leche de almendras de la casa es muy recomendable.
