Near the Salzburg city airport, in a hangar under the lucky and magical number "7", lies a haven of modern avant-garde art mixed with stunning cuisine. This is the Ikarus restaurant, whose walls are uniquely decorated by world luminaries of surrealism, and the tables and chairs are chosen with maximum comfort in mind, yet strictly in matte black to contrast the pristine white dishes. Every new month for the restaurant marks the time for a change of chef, who departs with a smile to "retirement", allowing the next culinary artist to take their place. Interestingly, candidates for the vacant position are personally selected by the head chef, who travels the globe in search of talents.
