Es ist ein Ort, an dem die Stadt und das Land in leiser Harmonie zusammentreffen, ein Rückzugsort für jene, die der Hektik der Plaza Mayor entfliehen möchten. Die Wege sind gesäumt von Bäumen, deren Schatten selbst an den heißesten Tagen wie ein Versprechen von Ruhe wirken. Hier hört man das Flüstern des Windes und das Murmeln des Tormes, während man über den weichen Boden wandert. Die umliegenden Hügel und die Nähe zur Stadtmauer verleihen dem Ort eine fast magische Atmosphäre. Ein friedlicher Zufluchtsort, der zeigt, dass selbst Salamanca seine stillen Geheimnisse hat.
