My wife and I visited this lovely restaurant last night after I was given a voucher for my birthday. The staff were all fabulous, great atmosphere and more importantly the food was fabulous. We will definitely visit this lovely place again when we are down this way. Many thanks to all of the Lacey Nook Team.

What a wonderful place to be on a hot summers evening - it's like being on holiday with the beautiful setting. The food was delicious - we enjoyed everything and shared loads of dishes between us. The baked feta, while very small for the price, was still standout for the flavour. The squid, beef and burrata and watermelon salad were also favourites. Dessert was just as delicious - the baklava especially. And to top it all off the staff were friendly and attentive. Thank you 🌟

We've been regular customers at The Lacy Nook since moving to Walthamstow last year, and I felt compelled to share our recent experience that truly showcased the exceptional character of this establishment. During our visit this weekend, a family member became seriously ill at our table - one of those terrifying situations no one wants to face. The response from The Lacy Nook staff was nothing short of extraordinary. They immediately sprang into action, helping us call an ambulance, making our family member comfortable, bringing water, and providing invaluable assistance to the ambulance crew when they arrived to stabilize the situation. What struck me most was the professionalism and genuine care shown by every staff member during what must be one of the most challenging situations in hospitality. Their swift, compassionate response made an enormous difference during an incredibly frightening time. I should mention that while this was happening, some other guests were actually asking for free drinks and dishes to "compensate" for the disruption to their meals. To those people and anyone who might find themselves in a similar situation: someone is having a far worse evening than you are. Please show some compassion, help if you can, or simply stay out of the way of staff who are managing a crisis. Beyond this incident, we continue to return to The Lacy Nook regularly because the food is consistently amazing. But after this weekend, we'll be back not just for the excellent cuisine, but because we know we're dining at a place with truly exceptional people. Thank you to all the staff for your incredible kindness and professionalism. - Jack
