A little bit of an abuse on the sauces (too much mayo, too much creamy coleslaw, etc). Ingredients fresh and nice atmosphere. Again, too much of the dressings is an overkill of the potentially fantastic experience.

Perhaps I was expecting too much, but I was rather disappointed. The chicken Kyiv sandwich was good, but aside from the ridiculous size of it, nothing to write home about. What really put me off the whole experience was the chaotic ordering system. First I had to choose what I wanted then join the appropriate queue to order. Once I ordered, the woman started making my sandwich and directed me to join another queue to pay. Once I had paid, I had to stand around looking for my sandwich and trying not to join any of the other queues. I tried to ask the woman who originally took my order but she looked quite stressed and didn't seem to recognise me and I didn't have any receipt or order number. Eventually a man working there took pity on me and made me a new sandwich. I don't know what happened to my original sandwich. Maybe that's why it's called Sandwich Sandwich.

Upon arrival it seems like you will be greeted with a queue out the door so be prepared for a wait! The line does move though and once in they turn around your order very quickly and are accommodating. The sandwiches are as large as they look and can be messy but that is part of the experience. Recommend at least trying as the sandwiches are really good. Just be aware of the “eat in” price as that is on average an extra £2 on the price of each sandwich. When really busy like it was when we were there they don’t always add it but I imagine they will if it’s a bit quieter and get chance to ask if you’re looking to eat in or take out.
