Very nice staff, funny friendly and very good at their jobs. I enjoyed my visit immensely although not my date who turned out to be a miserable old dragon.

What a hidden treasure we stumbled upon this week whilst attending a performance at Peckham Theatre, we had time to kill and Gayle's is open until 7pm, perfect! I can honestly say that the stop at Gayle's was one I shall not forget, the setting, decor, ambiance and atmosphere were all second to none but the Service, now that was exceptional. We were served by two wonderful young men of school age assisting around school and home work and just wow, Kyle and Jeremiah were polite and attentive with customer service key to their serving, I have never quite experienced such wonderful service, if only this were London wide!! I salute this initiative by Gayle and would highly recommend a trip for the standard of food and beverages which btw is second to none, most yummy (didn't take pics unfortunately) and for the experience as a whole. Such a welcoming and friendly eatery, some local history on display, offering a pay it forward initiative, support a stranger board, Gayle truly has covered all bases in this community eatery. If you are ever in Peckham I would thoroughly recommend a trip to Galyes Coffee Bar I promise you will not be disappointed. Its a 11 out of 10 from me and a massive hats off to the young men, determined, disciplined, attentive, excellent customer service, the most polite ever. I'm in awe of them both. Thanks to Gayle for a wonderful experience. 🤩
