The food at Aladin Kebabish is consistently excellent. Their Karachi-style nihari, paye, and biryani are authentic and full of flavour, truly a treat for anyone craving traditional Pakistani Dehli style cuisine. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the overall service is commendable. However, one area that unfortunately lets the experience down is the state of the toilets. This is a common issue in many desi restaurants, and it's disappointing to see it persist here, especially considering thebrestaurant was recently refitted at the location after relocating from a few doors down. The facilities appear to have been installed with minimal investment, small, awkwardly placed sink, mismatched or residential-grade fixtures, and a general lack of attention to hygiene and design. The soap dispensers and hand dryers feel like afterthoughts, and the cleanliness of the space could be significantly improved. While it's worth noting that ample paper towels are provided, the overall setup doesn't reflect the same care and quality seen in the food, service and the overall decor of the seating space. It would make a real difference if the owners engaged a professional company to design and install a proper wet-room style toilet that caters to the needs of their clientele, especially considering cultural preferences around hygiene and cleanliness. Despite this drawback, the food and service remain strong enough to keep us coming back, though we do hesitate at times due to the facilities. A small investment with the right bathroom design company (not a friend of a friend who is a plumber and can do tiling too and all this on cash and you find the cheapest mismatched items on the internet) in this area could elevate the entire dining experience.
