Really cool venue local to me that is definitely different from other pubs in the area. Initially went in there for the aircon because it was so hot outside. Bought some water and the regulars were friendly to me immediately and the owner gave me a free drink because I was overheated. Honestly what more can you ask for. Ended up having a chat and I found out that they're queer friendly which although you might think that's the standard thing for London, it's still reassuring and means I can bring all my friends here safely. They're good people. Also last time I was I found out there's a garden which I didn't realize before so that's very cool.

I'm leaving a review for this place because I'm a big fan of the concept. It's definitely more than a pub. it's a hub for artists and art events, I saw some brilliant photography there and some wonderful paintings upstairs. The owner clearly has vision for the place and it's early days but I'm very excited to see what will happen with this place. They work with a variety of promoters to keep the place busy and atmospheric there was great music playing when I was there and it was a cool crowd. The art on the walls was lovely to see.

I have visited this place twice, once just because I was thirsty and passing and the second time because I decided to come back with a friend. The decor feels chill & spacious & there was some wonderful photography all over the place as part of a solo exhibition. I was able to speak with the artist who was really interesting to talk to, found out what types of cameras she used & so on. When I rocked up feeling harassed and overheated I was welcomed very warmly and looked after incredibly well. The proprietor is kind and generous and it seems to attract a cool crowd. The music was great and I was inspired to bring my friend back with me. From what I can gather they have a lot more things planned for this place so I'm excited to come back soon. I would bring all my friends the location is absolutely perfect as well. Very convenient right on the high street and very local to me. One thing I really like is how they treat everyone the same it's a very diverse area and that's very important to me. Am looking forward to seeing this place go from strength to strength.
