Great place, real swimming track, i love it

Świetne miejsce, jedyny w okolicy pełnowymiarowy basen olimpijski. Dodatkowo na miejscu znajdują się dwie sauny

Po dwoch latach: w pracy ratowników nic sie nie zmienilo. Przewaznie siedza w parach przy stoliku lub w parach czasami obchodza basen rozmawiając ze soba. To ze przychodza tam ludzie ktorzy umieją plywac nie znaczy ze nie trzeba im bedzie udzielać pomocy w razie naglego wypadku. Jesli dzieje sie to po drugiej stronie basenu o wymiarach olimpijskich nikt tego nie zauważy. Prędzej ktos z plywajacych sie zorientuje niz ratownicy. Prosze zainwestowac w odkurzacz do dna basenu. Update: Before you go check the schedule or call. It’s very busy pool with swimming teams. Clean with nice front desk ladies. Lifeguards still clumped in the same spot. They should be in different spots in such a big pool. If you want to really know how different is to swim in 50m pool comparing to 25m come to Olimpijczyk in Gliwice. This is beautiful, well kept pool only for lap swimming. The entrance contains the lockers for the shoes and coats, two sitting areas with the pool view including one with armchairs on upper level, little store with swimming stuff, restrooms including separate one for disabled and the reception desk. The ladies at the reception desk are very nice and can answer all your questions plus they give you plenty of advice. The pool can get very busy but we were using it during the day so we did not experience the crowds. There is a disabled changing room that was used by us. The only minus was that restroom in that room was out of order. There is plenty of chairs on the both sides of that pool lined along the wall. I did not notice any equipment like boards or pull buoys so bring your own. Water temperature was perfect not to cold and not to warm. The swimming in that pool is excellent. There are plenty hair dryers on the wall when you exit the changing rooms. The lockers can be locked with the sensor you get at the counter that also measure your time in the pool area and tell the ladies at the reception desk how much you have to pay. Overall this pool deserves 6 stars for being so clean, super nice ladies at the front desk and overall experience. Lifeguards get 3.5 stars because they sit all the time and check on people from time to time walking around the pool. They should be spead apart plus walk and check on swimmers all the time. They will not be able to help person in distress. So please be careful. Despite that I highly recommend that pool.
